ABOUT

Wildlight Expeditions brings curious travelers and photography enthusiasts together to explore wild places through small-group photography and video workshops. We founded Wildlight from a shared love of wildlife, image-making, and helping others discover what they can create. Our approach makes room for the things that matter to us: spending time in a place, learning to recognize an animal’s behavior, noticing the changing light, and sharing the excitement when a moment comes together. Thoughtfully chosen destinations, knowledgeable local guides, and small groups create space for personal attention and a rewarding experience in the field.

Our mission is to help you develop the skills and confidence to tell your own stories of the natural world, through both still photographs and video. Whether you’re learning your camera or refining your creative approach, we offer practical instruction, encouragement, and time to experiment. Respect for wildlife and its habitat guides how we explore, with an emphasis on observing animals without disrupting their behavior. We envision a growing community connected by a love of discovery, people who return home with new friendships, work they’re proud of, and an appreciation for wild places that continues long after the journey.
